APRIL FOOLS' DAY FAUX PRODUCT LAUNCHES

The Nickelback guys are huge pranksters so it made sense to go all out on April Fools' Day. I created assets for their 2025 and 2026 April Fools' Day posts. The 2025 "Cards Against Nickelback" faux product launch post was inspired by the white Nickelback card from the original Cards Against Humanity game, and ended up being the most-shared post of the entire year. The 2026 "San Quentin" faux album announce post layers fan inside jokes and pop culture references while simultaneously trolling followers who had been begging for a new Nickelback album.

I identified an emerging trend where creators would post videos of themselves training at the gym before revealing the ironically low-stakes or wholesome reason they were. To amplify the trend, we stitched together multiple creator videos into a single asset and tagged each spotlighted creator in the post.
